Tusker Oktobafest rolled into Eldoret this past Saturday, October 11th, turning Tamasha Lounge into the ultimate beer and culture destination for the Home of Champions. After kicking off in Nairobi at Carnivore Grounds on October 4th, the festival brought its winning formula of great beer, incredible vibes, and top-tier entertainment to the Rift Valley, and Eldoret showed up ready to celebrate.

The Beer Experience

Tusker Oktobafest transformed Tamasha Lounge into what can only be described as a beer lover’s paradise. Beer cocktail stations served up creative shandies while sampling booths gave festival-goers a chance to explore Kenya Breweries Limited’s full lineup of lagers, stouts, ciders, and malts. Brand ambassadors, dressed to impress in stunning African-inspired outfits, guided attendees through the experience.

The venue was Instagram-ready with multiple photo-op spots, and interactive brand activities had everyone competing for exclusive Oktobafest merchandise that you can’t get anywhere else.

The Entertainment Was Unmatched

MC Gudahman and his dance crew kicked things off with energy that had the crowd moving from the jump. Their choreography set the perfect vibe for Iyanii, who took the stage next and delivered a performance packed with his biggest hits that had everyone singing along.

DJ Daqchild kept the momentum going with a killer set that paid tribute to Eldoret’s rich music scene, spinning local favorites that kept the dance floor packed. But it was Mejja who absolutely brought the house down. His performance was the moment everyone had been waiting for, and he delivered in spectacular fashion.

Coming to Your City Next

“We are delighted to share the Oktobafest experience with our consumers across the country,” said Brigid Wambu, Senior Brand Manager for Tusker. “We’ve had an amazing reception in Eldoret, allowing us to truly explore how our Eldoret consumers do beer and culture. We are looking forward to creating even richer experiences in other parts of the country throughout October, which is beer month.”

If you missed the Eldoret edition, don’t worry. Tusker Oktobafest is heading to three more destinations:

  • Coast Edition: October 18th at New Big Tree, Bamburi
  • Lake Edition: October 25th at Atella Beach Resort, Kisumu
  • Mountain Edition: November 1st at The Stinger Lounge-Kinyuki, Nanyuki

Tickets are KES 1,000 at the door, and here’s the best part: that ticket is redeemable for either five bottles of Tusker Lager, Pilsner, or Balozi, or four bottles of Whitecap, Manyatta, Tusker Cider, Tusker Malt, Tusker Lite, or Guinness. Basically, your entry fee becomes your drink budget.

More Ways to Celebrate

Beyond the main festivals, Tusker Oktobafest is running over 200 activations at bars and lounges nationwide throughout October. Plus, keep an eye out for flash sales and special discounts on your favorite KBL beers on ke.thebar.com and through select e-commerce partners.

Whether you’re Team Lager, Team Stout, or Team Cider, this October is all about celebrating beer culture across Kenya. Mark your calendars and get ready to experience Tusker Oktobafest in a city near you.
