Kenya’s biggest beer and culture festival, Tusker Oktobafest, brought its nationwide celebration to a spectacular close on Saturday, October 8th, with an electric final party at Attela Beach Resort in Kisumu.

Thousands of revellers showed up for the Lake Edition, capping off a tour that had already rocked Nairobi, Eldoret, Mombasa, and Nanyuki.

The beachfront venue was packed with festival-goers ready for an epic night of live performances, cold brews, and non-stop energy. Headliners Bensoul, Fathermoh, and Harry Craze delivered hit after hit while DJs Gordo, Ves, Daffy, and Dimore kept the crowds moving until the early hours. Fan-favorite MC Gogo teamed up with Kisumu’s own Hype Amollo to keep the vibes high throughout the night.

MC Gogo kicked things off with an explosive opening that had the crowd on their feet from the jump. Harry Craze followed with a high-energy set that turned the venue into a massive dance floor, then surprised everyone by bringing out Fathermoh for their collaborative bangers. The night wrapped beautifully with Bensoul’s smooth, soulful performance that left the audience buzzing.

The perfect blend of premium beer, homegrown talent, and passionate fans solidified Tusker Oktobafest’s reputation as East Africa’s ultimate beer festival.

“We wanted to bring the Oktobafest experience to as many Kenyans as possible this year, and we’ve done exactly that,” said Brigid Wambua, Senior Brand Manager for Tusker. “Oktobafest is our annual celebration of Kenyan beer and culture, and the energy we’ve seen across all regions—especially here in Kisumu—has been incredible. This finale exceeded all expectations.”

The festival’s sixth edition kicked off in September with an ambitious nationwide tour that included:

Nairobi Edition: October 4th at Carnivore Grounds

Rift Edition: October 11th at Baniyas, Eldoret

Coast Edition: November 1st at Big Tree, Mombasa

Mountain Edition: November 1st at The Stinger Lounge-Kinyuki, Nanyuki

Beyond the main events, Tusker Oktobafest hosted over 200 on-trade activations countrywide. Beer lovers scored flash deals and discounts on KBL’s full lineup—lagers, stouts, ciders, and malts—through ke.thebar.com and various e-commerce platforms.

Tusker thanks its fans, performers, and partners for making the nationwide tour and Kisumu Grand Finale a massive success, reinforcing the brand’s commitment to championing Kenyan music, beer, and culture in every corner of the country.
