Hello, and thank you so much for being here. I say Karibu to the official ‘My Kind of Life’ website. My name is Jacky Muraba. I am a mother to a very beautiful girl, a lover of life, travel-enthusiast, a lover of arts, and culture.

The thing about fear and uncertainty is that they’re the only hurdles standing between you and what you want… My Kind of Life has been around for some time. It started out as an idea, before progressing into a final year school project.

Change is normal. Growth is normal. New seasons come knocking. Shifts and transitions happen. The decision to embrace or fight the shifts depends heavily on you. Changes happened, and someone brought out the idea to have my website, shift it from a word-press account, and have it as a stand-alone.

Remember what I said about fear and uncertainty? We all want to try out something new, and sometimes the fear of the unknown holds us back. However, whether or not you act on what you want, the same duration of time will pass. Might as well just do it.

It’s been quite the journey. A journey of self-doubt and sacrifices, learning and un-learning… This website has been a long time coming, and I am so glad it’s finally here. On my birthday at that!

Special thanks to the brains behind this website. You planted an idea, walked me through the whole process, you’ve nurtured me as well, and taught me a lot. Asante Sana.

About My Kind Of Life

My kind of life is exactly what the name suggests. My kind of life. The life I’ve had, the life I now have, and the life I hope to have (and I’m working towards).

With this website, I’ll be sharing with you;

  • Events I’ve been to, (Business, Entertainment, Sporting, etc.),
  • Places I think you should try out,
  • Profiles,
  • Simple life’s tips, because “Wakenya ni kusaidiana”,
  • And random stories.

As you step into ‘My Kind of Life,’ remember, it’s not just a website, it’s a virtual adventure where the only ticket you need is your curiosity. Whether we’re talking about the latest events, uncovering hidden gems in the city, or spotlighting artists who make you go ‘wow,’ one thing’s for sure – there’s never a dull moment around here. So, fasten your seatbelts (or loosen them, it’s a virtual ride after all), and get ready for a journey that’s as unpredictable as a squirrel on a coffee buzz. See you on the flip side of normal!🚀🎉☕
