B. Braun Pharmaceuticals, a respected name in Kenya’s healthcare and pharmaceutical sector, has made a bold move towards environmental sustainability. In partnership with RUBiSOL, the company has successfully commissioned a 485kWp solar rooftop system at its Athi River facility in Machakos County.
A Powerful Setup for Long-Term Gains
The project, completed in March 2025, covers all buildings within the facility. It features 1,102 high-performance 440W solar modules and a robust inverter system comprising two 100kW, two 50kW, and two 33kW inverters. The installation is projected to deliver lifetime savings of USD 393,220 and offset around 3,995.9 tonnes of CO₂ emissions.
